WGT Vorbereitungsplaylist 2017

Das Jahr hat kaum begonnen, und schon stehen die ersten Bands für das diesjährige Wave-Gotik-Treffen fest.

Für Schwarzlicht heißt das natürlich, es wird Zeit für die alljährliche WGT-Vorbereitungsplaylist fürs WGT!

TL;DR: Playlist auf Shuffle hören, und gute Bands notieren

Keine Ahnung, was das bedeuten soll? Keine Sorge, kann ich erklären: Das Wave-Gotik-Treffen ist ein Festival, zu dem regelmäßig ca. 200 Bands anreisen; darunter befinden sich immer Perlen, die man noch nie gesehen hat, die man aber auch sehr leicht übersieht. Verschlimmert wird das ganze noch durch die Tatsache, dass man beim WGT nicht mal eben kurz zu einer Band laufen kann – mit Pech spielt die nämlich am anderen Ende der Stadt. Da hilft nur gute Vorbereitung.

Das klingt verdächtig nach Arbeit? Stimmt. Aber ich hab einen Weg gefunden, das zu erleichtern. Von allen Bands, die bestätigt werden, sammle ich die 10 meistgehörten Tracks in einer Playlist bei Spotify. Diese Playlist kann man dann wunderbar über die Monate bis Pfingsten nebenbei auf shuffle hören. Wichtig ist allerdings, dass man sich dabei Notizen macht, wenn einem etwa (positiv oder auch negativ) auffällt. So vorbereitet, wird man dann vom Pfingstboten nicht ganz so erschlagen, wie sonst.

Was? 10 Tracks von jeder Band? Nein, leider nicht, alle kann ich dort nicht finden. Es gibt auch Bands, die weniger als 10 Tracks dort haben. Ich nehme auch nicht immer einfach blind die ersten 10 Tracks – die wiederholen sich nämlich dort teils. Außerdem hat Spotify bei wenig gehörten Bands die Angewohnheit, einfach nur die neuesten Tracks als Top anzuzeigen. Dann mische ich mutwillig und absichtlich andere Alben mit rein.

Dabei kommen sicher auch mal ein paar Fehler drunter – falls ihr falsche Bands drin findet – ihr könnt mir hier oder auf Twitter Bescheid sagen.

Die Ausbeute der ersten Bandankündigung war ganz ordentlich. Bis auf Hørd konnte ich alle Bands finden. Von den „Whispering Sons“ gab’s nur 8 Stücke. Aber damit haben wir einen Anfang von 108 Songs und 8h 42min. Spätere Ankündigungen werden eingepflegt, je mehr drin ist, um so spannender wird die Playlist.

Alles muss raus! 2016

Das Jahr ist schon wieder kaputt. Eigentlich war das gesamte Jahr ein wenig kaputt, so betrachtet. Aber jetzt ist es fast vorbei. Zeit für die letzte Ausgabe von Schwarzlicht in diesem Jahr. Und das bedeutet: es gibt die „Alles Muss Raus!“ Ausgabe von Schwarzlicht. Hier spiele ich alles Mögliche musikalische, das mich in diesem Jahr so beschäftigt hat, das aber nicht so recht in die Sendung passen wollte.

Tja, für diese Ausgabe ist das egal, hier spiel ich einfach alles, ohne Rücksicht auf Verluste. Es ist bestimmt für jeden etwas dabei, das er/sie nicht mag! Musikalisch wird diese Sendung sehr abwechslungsreich, selbst für Schwarzlichtverhältnisse. Und ich werde den Sendungsrekord für „Längstes Stück, das bei Schwarzlicht gespielt wurde“ um Längen brechen. Bisher wird dieser gehalten durch „Blind Guardian“ mit „and then there was silence“ von stolzen 14:08. Ein heutiger Beitrag wird das um einiges übertreffen, soviel sei verraten.
